Now that looks good.  Sleak. Awesome. 100% better than the pop-out NAV.

Hi all, New Titan owner here.

I am about to change the radio in the titan. I had called crutchfield to order the same pioneer unit pictured here. They told me it would not fit because of the depth of the pioneer radio. Did either of you do any changes inside the dash to make either the pioneer or the eclipse fit?  What brackets did you use to mount the eclipse unit behind the dash kit?
I was also under the impression that with the dash kit you would have a double din opening. Cruthfield said it is not a double din opening.
I am almost certain the eclipse is a double din unit.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

For those of you who have the steering wheel controls, crutchfield sells an adapter that will allow you to use up to 12 functions if your aftermarket head unit has an IR remote.

Once you get the new dash piece it is a double din opening I used a metra kit to fill the second din. There was a depth issue but it was corrected with a large flatblade screwdriver and a BFH

Thanks for the reply Nihlism.  I figured that was the answer after I took the dash apart.  A BFH always comes in handy.

Can anyone tell me why the name Rockford Fosgate is on the factory stereo? It is Clairion speakers and a Panasonic head unit. The only thing I have not looked at is the under seat sub. I doubt it says rockford on it and if it did does one piece justify the name?

YOU CAN STILL USE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS, YOU JUST HAVE TO BY A SPECIFIC INTERFACE COMPONENT.  MOST STEREO SHOPS WILL HAVE OR CAN GET WHAT YOU NEED,  MY AFTER MARKET HEAD UNIT WOKS LIKE A CHAMP. JC
