I have an 05 CC LE 4x4 w/BTP.

I just hit 3800 miles and am noticing the judder which started right around 3k miles.  Happens when im braking below 30mph.....Sheehy Nissan is telling me that the rotors are too thin and Nissan is aware. the temp fix for now is new pads and resurface the front rotors until Sheehy gets in an order of the thicker rotors.

I'm not really worried as long as the issue is remedied.

This may have been answered somewhere else, but I couldn't find it.  Do the current problems with the '05 brakes that some people are experiencing have anything to do with when the truck was manufactured?  i.e.  Early in the 2005 model year, or later?  And how soon should we see an issue or shimmy when braking if our truck does have the brake issues?

i have a 05 titan se and i have had it in for passenger seat replacement,  my brakes just started to judder at 12K miles,  i am bringing it in on monday for repair.  also while changing the oil this week, i decided to pull the plug on the rear differential and check the fluid (i heard there was a problem with the 04's) and sure enough the oil was completely burnt and as thin as water and contained a ton of metal flakes.  i have never towed a thing with this truck and i have no idea what is causing the rear end to boil the gear oil???????????????
