All the badges are chrome and the truck does't need anymore chrome. Besides it looks better without.

For some, it cleans it up. Most people know that it is a V8 and it is a Titan. I think all the badges just clutter the appearance. Besides, "WE don't need no stinkin' badges!" |

I debadged my Titan too but not the tailgate (yet). And yes it creates cleaner lines with "less advertising" billboard effect. I am in my late 40's but I feel young at heart and throttle. See my Titan and the work i've done on her at my website www.usantonio.com/titan4x4link.htm

I do it not as aprelude to slammin' my ride but to clean it up. I also don't" see my self" very often as many don't debadge. Its a personal choice but I haven't asked why anyone changes the rims or adds pinstripes or adds hitchcovers or exhaust tips.....must be my age.

You can always put the badges back on if you decide you dont like it without. I have only had my truck a week and I am seriously considering "debadging". The truck design speaks for itself and doesn't need to advertise. TV and magazines will take care of that.

I have to admit, at first I didn't even think of debadging my truck. And I just kept reading and reading about it here, and thought I would try it on the tailgate first. Looked clean. Then did the sides. Except on one spot where I didn't clean all the glue off (it was about 40 degrees and the glue wouldn't come off, I'm stupid), I have to say it makes it look sharper.

So far I've got the fenders cleaned up because I HAVE HIGH PERFORMANCE DECALS ON THE HOOD. The tail gate is next. But I have one question for the "debadging professionals"---Are all the letters on the tailgate glued on? ...or are any of them attached with pins through holes???

From what I hear, the only one on the truck that has pins into holes is the Nissan emblem on the tailgait. Everything else is glued.

Yep, the Nissan emblem is glued and pinned, the other decals are the same as the fender ones.
