Maybe this is the solution some of you have been looking for: I found the following in a Crutchfield magazine I got today:
NEW "USA SPEC", " ..."With USA SPEC's new factory stereo adapters, you can hook up almost any add-on device....ranging from MiniDisc player to a hard drive to satellite radio. These adapters allow you to plug in and drive off into the sunset with your car's factory stereo playing your favorite songs...Each adapter comes with 2 auxiliary inputs, so you can focus on the road, not changing sources. We have adapters for many makes and models..." ...$59.99 each
They also have:
"PAC" "Hold on to your steering wheel controls and replace your factory stereo with PAC's Radio Control Interface" ..... $69.99
see www.crutchfield.com

BuyDell,
Here is a link to the "AUX - In" preamp that most people are using in
their Titans. Costs $35 and has adjustable level outputs to you
AUX connection and it runs on your 12 volt power. It's the
P.I.E LD-1.
http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=317 .
I just ordered one to use with my Sirius Radio Sporster.

dram56 ,
Who better than you!!!!! NOBODY !!!!!
I think I may order up of the those puppies myself!!! I can get a similar device at Radio Shack for $21. the bad part is that it takes 2 aaa batteries which would need replacing quite often as I use my radio ALOT. I could tap around and find the voltage needed, but thats a pain in the ass !!!!
Thanks again!!!!!

Hey guys one question? My truck was built in May 2004 it has the satellite wired radio. Can I use either Sirius or X-M with the proper hardware, is the radio just a radio awaiting a factory tuner? Or must I call Nissan and find out if my truck supports Sirus or X-M? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

supports both. The XM tuner is easy to get from the dealer. It actually says it works with the Titan. The Sirius tuner is the one for the Armada - same connection, same interface - not sure why it is not listed for the Titan. THe Armada Sirius kit is not everything you need - you need the extension for the antenna or better yet - buy an aftermarket Terk mini antenna.

So if my 2004 Titan with the RF 6-CD changer is wired for sat, how
would I select it from the head unit once I install the receiver?
My radio head doesn't have the SAT button, it has the rear
speaker/headphone button in that spot.
Thanks,
Greg

My understanding is you select the SAT by using the Radio button - FM/FM2/AM/SAT

Thanks Chad, I didn't think of that. Is that in the owner's manual?
