Sure there are going to be some problems. Christ, I owned a 99 Durango and it seems every other week, some $400 part was crapping out -- this of course, immediately after it went out of warranty. If you have rusted parts, rattles, fluid leaks, etc., and you're under warranty - put it on Nissan's hands. They sold it to you, it's under warranty -- tell them to call you when it's fixed!
They did the seatbelt recall on mine last time I was in. I discovered the plastic cover that's over the nut - cracked. Called the guy out - new one ordered on the spot. Also, the red plastic deal on the + side of the battery was cracked. Had the guy order one.
Until that odometer hits 36,000, every crack, noise, leak, rattle, fart, sputter and gasp is on them.
Ditto for the 2004 Murano that sits next to it in the garage, however, knock wood, that thing's been perfect.
PS - just had tech tube nerf bars put on today. A 100% improvement over the Westins!
