Well guys I'm at 8 now. Popped what looked like a finch or sparrow this morning on the way to the doctor.

Caught a finch on top of my half-helmet last summer on the bike. Skimmed right off...

No damage from the dogs but the bugs cause alot more headaches to clean!!!!! mainly after a three day trip when they get sundried.

My last truck I hit a bat going out to go camping, and hit a hawk coming back.  How many points are those worth?  It was kind of strange actually.  I clipped the hawk with the corner light, he spun down the side of my truck and when I looked in my mirror all I saw was a bird spinning out of control.  Left a big greasy mark all the way down the side of the cab...

bigbear - If you would stop taking that short cut through the city park in the morning, you wouldn't be hitting so damn many animals!

The only bird attracting my Tian does is bird sh*t.

Tom

I guess when I hit a giraffe or a rhino, I need to quit cutting through the zoo.

Well guys when I first started this thread it was kinda funny. You know popping birds here and there yadda, yadda, yadda. Well it has became a thorn in my side as of this afternoon.

I nailed a Red Tailed Hawk. I noticed it in the ditch and wondered what it was. Then in a split second it flew out of the ditch and directly in the path of the Tank (considering renaming it the Birdslayer). Whop!!!! Hit the grill, flew up in the air at least 8 feet, almost landed in the back of the truck, and put a 5 or 6" crack in the verticle beam in the grill on the drivers side. It appears to be plastic wrapped in Chrome tape. I thought about going and getting the dirty bird so, I could keep his leg and foot. (Don't ask why, I've always wanted something cool to hang from the rearview mirror). But then I realized what that nasty assed bird did to the truck and said "ROT IN HELL YOU S.O.B.!!! My luck I probably didn't even kill the dang thing. Probably just knocked it out, I dunno hit him going about 70, so he's probably deader than a doornail. So, If anybody wants to go bird watching, CALL ME UP!! I can get you closer than you ever thought about being.

BigBear,

I'm pretty sure you have a lead that will be hard to catch.  I know I have no desire to catch your point total.

I think there should be a new rule added.  One point for each dollar spend on repairs.
