I installed the K&N 63 Aircharger Intake today. The install was fairly easy and it took me about an hour. I drove it soon after, and all i can say is WOW!!! Its about as twice as loud as the stock system, and the engine now sounds similar to a Hemi Cuda/Ford Diesel if that makes any sense. Its hard to explain the sound and how loud it is but I highly recommend this intake system. It was a very clean install and the results are amazing!!!

Is the aircharger that much better? When I first joined this forum I read that many people that used the aircharger weren't throughly happy with the results and went back to the factory intake with a K&N filter replacing the stock. Curious and curiouser about this I am.

i have not installed a cold air intake or aircharger on my titan but my '98 GMC does have an airaide intake on it and it was worth the time. it is all about the person and what you want. i am glad to hear the 63 seiers made a noticable difference. that may help in my choice of what to go with.

Have read in previous posts that the MAF doesnt take kindly to the oil used for maintaining the K&N filter....Something to the effect that the MAF will short out and Nissan wont warranty the fix.....PS does anyone know what hell a MAF is?????

MAF is Mass Airflow Sensor. I ran a Airraid kit with the K&N on my F150. It made a big difference. I don't think I'll run it on my Titan though, because the K&N's can cause problems (such as oil on the MAF, and the K&N supposedly lets fine dust pass through it). For now the Titan has so much more power than any other truck I've been in that I'm going to leave it.. :)

you know what is crazy, I had the truck in the dealer for some warranty work and in the parts department, there was the k&n system on the wall for the titan. How can the dealer void the warranty when the product in question is something that they sell.

Its not "their" warranty. Its Nissan's. I hope you don't think that a car dealer has your best interests in mind.. ;) They just want your money..

i had recently installed the K&N Aircharger the "Illegal" one, or for offroad or racing use only, but whatever, it took me about 1.5ours (i had a cast on my arm due to torn ligiment) but even with that that was pretty easy, it cost me $253.97 or so, and i got it on www.offroadwharehouse.com. The gains are tremendous as far as sound and smoothness, i noticed a calmer idle and smoother acceleration. Durring 3-5k rpm is when you can really hear the difference. It sounds amazing and would really recomend the system.
