A decent price is the sticker total, without dealer add on, out the door. Anything better than that is a good price.

I purchase an 2004 SE. I bought it in December, and paid $23,500.00. I bought it from a dealership, with 3,200 miles.
I would suggest you buy one used. Remeber that they will wine about invoice price, and all the other crap, but they get a bonus for every car & truck they sell.
So although they might loose money, or they would like you to believe, they make it up from the factory when it leaves the floor.
You would see a drop in the cost if you decide togo with a 4x2.. Do you really need a 4x4?
Either way, don't settle for anything more then the price you offer. Once you start to walk, if it's a reasonable price,, they will chase you down....

I wouldn't buy one used.
Do some homework and find one as a leftover. A local dealer here had 13 of them last weekend. Another place that I went to here only had 2. Got 6500.00 off MSRP. Total drive out was 23740.00!!! This was on a 2004 SE with only 174 miles on it.
There are demos out there and decent used ones on ebay. One on ebay here in Houston at a dealer, has 1300 miles on it and going for more than what I paid and has less stuff in it.

Consider the money you loose when you drive off the lot, on average 7%.
When I bought my beast, I saved approximatley $7,000.00 for a truck that some guy counldn't get financed on. The thing only had 2,500 miles on it.
If you are willing to pay for a new car, that's great, I have purchased two brank new cars, but one of them I kept for a little less then two years, becasue I saw the Titan and fell in love. I lost my ass on the trade in, but I didn't care....
If you want brankd new go for it, everyone should have a car, that nobody else should have owned...

Here's a VERY FAIR Price; spending any more than this would have been insane!!!

After a $2400 Rebate which has been around for a few months now: $20,803 plus tax, title and license!
THAT'S $3,150 UNDER Dealer Invoice! Don't refer to MSRP as a barometer for what is a GOOD/FAIR Deal: As there are many misconceptions about MSRP; most often people are referring to the DEALERS Second Sticker for which they have many different creative names. Dealers will often advertise something like $6500 OFF/BELOW Sticker! And then in a small disclosure they state that it includes both factory rebate $2400 and a college grad rebate of $500 (which most don't qualify) That's ALWAYS ON AN XTERRA about a $3000 SECOND STICKER that consumers mistake as MSRP. That's the Dealer's goal and all too often it works!

Hi. Just thought I'd voice in as I just bought a 2004 SE King Cab 4x4. Used, 7500 miles, and I paid $25,998. Traded in my beautiful 2004 Acura TL 6 speed, and you know what? I don't miss it a bit. :)
I'm happy. It's a great truck, love the interior, and now that I own one, I see them everywhere.
Just a quick question... I like to debadge all my vehicles (you'd like to see the surpised look on the faces when people ask if my Hayabusa is a 600) and wondering if the Nissan, 5.6SE, and Titan are all removable from the tailgate...
I know... use the search function...

I paid 32,000 for my 04' SE with Big Tow package. However, they paid my trade in off and I owed 19,500 on it and the trade in value was only listed as 14,000. I was the only one to buy a vehicle that day and they wanted my business. I feel like I got a good deal. I love my Titan! As a woman driving one, I get double takes all the time from people.

Well I just bought my Titan about 2 months ago I think. Its an 05 SE 4X2 KC w/ big tow and the rockford package with capt. chairs its msrp was 29,000 I think. I walked out the door at 24,000 and some change. They paid off my trade without adding neg. equity gave me the 5 year 75,000 maintance pack, extended warrantee, gap, some sort of paint protection and interior protection, a rhino liner and they bought me lunch all for free. Nissan knows how to treat a customer. Also I work for Gulfstream Aerospace so we get the same discount as Nissan employees because of our owner, General Dynamics, however they didnt have to throw in all the extras but they did.

Newbie here, just bought a leftover '04 LE CC 4x4 w/ DVD. Got out the door for $3k under invoice (from edmunds and the corresponding printout from the dealer) with reasonbably attractive financing from Nissan. Not 0% but like 3%.
Delivery date was 4/09/05. Date in dealer stock was 10/18/04.
I felt like it was a decent deal. I think it could have been better, for 4 days worth of haggling over the phone.

My Titan is just over 1 week old with 750 miles on it. Purchased at Thompson Nissan in Doylestown, PA.
2005 SE Crew 4x4 w/SE Popular Package, Big Tow, and Floormats
Sticker $33,160
Negotiated Price $30,400
Negotiated Price minus $1500 Rebate $28,900
Dealer Invoice per KBB.com $29,976
So I guess I paid the dealer $424 over invoice. I guess I could have gotten them down that much more? We went back and forth for over a week negotiating the price. I was happy in the end and with rebate ended up paying less than dealer invoice by over $1000. They gave me $17K on my 2003 Frontier XVE Crew Cab Longbed trade.
This was the first new auto purchase that I didn't feel like I got ripped off on. And perhaps I didn't do as well as I could have. But if $424 is keeping you from buying a stickered $33K vehicle, maybe you're just being too stingy. It seemed like a good deal to me. I hope this info helps any new prospective buyers out there. I'm very very happy with this truck so far.
P.S. I highly recommend excluding the Nissan bed liner. It's nice and the track system is nice. But a friend of mine has a 2004 LE with the bed package and he is disappointed with the liner's appearance. It's got water marks all over and has faded EXTREMELY from the sun. The bed liner is white all over, like when you put car wax on a plastic piece that you can't get out, and there are big water marks where standing water sits. My friend also claims to use the standard hooks on the side of the bed more than the cleats for the track system to tie stuff down.
I saved the money and just had a Rhino Liner installed for $450 out the door. The Rhino Liner is WAY BETTER than the Nissan stuff. Very happy with it.
