Well my display is on the radio display, I don't have the navigation system installed so I'm not sure if it works with that. And to be honest I never listen to FM anymore since I've had the XM. But I have heard the FM recpeption on the TItan stereos isn't all that great.

somewhat off the subject but the rockford foossgate system in the nissans is horrible it is just like the bose and infinity and all that other crap it is made by some company for rf or infinity if you look at the speakers they are the same as in my truck with regular radio the only difference is your has a sub

thats not entirely correct. In numerous factory systems the difference is that the factory system when upgraded has an amp that powers the speakers rather then just using deck power. Take the monsoon system used in GM and VW for example. Some guys have had success in Sound Quality stereo competitions by keeping the factory midbass because it performed so well. In the end it all depends on your expectations and what you'd like under warranty, say for instance you install an aftermarket system and fry your electrical system which isn't too likely but anything is a possibility.

I'm actually one person that has modified a monsoon twice in two new vw's.

great stock system!

However for the audiophile, you really should strip the stereo (funny how I had the keys already) and start from scratch.

However most people can't do that. If you tune the HU for midrange and even add in a high level converter for the subs, you can actually have a great system!

Most of the "factory sucks, or RF/infinity sucks are from true audiophiles. But if you compare factory to upgraded without the boom boom and 12thousand watts, you really have good consumer system.

Now upgrading to better levels is something outside of factory offerings!

thats not entirely correct.

I would have to agree.  If you are coming from a vehicle with an after market audio sytem that was custom designed then no you are not going to have your expectations met.  I have heard the rf system and it sounds really good for what it is for.  You also have to understand that this is not going to be a "blow you a way" kind of sytem.  Nissan has to make it marketable for most age groups.  You can fine tune it and it will sound it will sound better as long as you know what you are doing.  I have had all kinds of after market sytems in my vehicles and I have come to realize that it really is the quality of the sound rather than quantity.  If you are trying to let everyone outside the truck hear what you are listening to then this is not for you, but if you want quality sound  than this system is great for that.
