Here is my thought. My wife and I talked about this and we thought about getting a 3rd car. One that we can use for daily driving and still save on gas. This will also save the miles on the truck. That way we can keep the truck for what it is really needed for, good ole fashion work. We already have a Jetta VR6. As far as gas prices going up, we will still have to buy it.

additional car means additional insurance + gas plus emission contol and inspection. r u really saving? i guess it all depends on how far you drive ur truck

i am lucky that i don't drive every day my husband drives over 35 miles a day to tampa from home and he has a santa fe...i won't trade my baby in i love the power and looks i had those gas econo cars and i don't think i will ever go back if i can help it..i fill it up one time a week about $20 but i don't let it get below 1/2 if i can help it...we have the gas in florida at 2.21 a gallon...
