05- Titan 6200 miles, 4 door crew, not 4 wheel drive or big tow package.

My question is I get 14.7 mpg in the city,  If I buy an aftermarket air intake will that increase my mpg or not ? Please advise_ Thanks in advance !

Yeah 14.7 city aint too bad considering..I got 2wd, w/big tow..I avg 13.5 city ...16 hwy..that being said I think an aftermkt intake at the very least will improve power, maybe even mpg..keep on truckin

Down hill with a tail wind should help.

Aftermarket intake WILL help. I just got through a vacation with my Volant intake and was up to 21 mpg highway with the AC on. Around 14mpg city seems to be a decent average, so ask the guys in Chevy, Ford, or Dodge what they get city. You just might cringe.

Change out all your fluids to Mobil 1 - engine, rear-end, front dif (if 4x4).

You should see an increase of about 1.4 or so...

At nearly 3.00 a gallon ,parking this truck in my driveway has been  a great way for me to increase my mileage.

2b4 under the gas pedal will increase your mileage. My best mpg so far is 17.3 going about 68mph on the highway.
