That's new news to me. Never heard that, but seems like I've heard somewhere (here or outside of the forum) that the computer needs to be reset via disconnecting the battery. I didn't do that because it didn't sound like a justified reason at the time. But it's been at least 3500 miles since I've installed my intake, and it seems to just as good now as it did 3 months ago. Good mpg, great torque and throttle response.

exactly what i heard.  you have to disconnect the battery every 500 miles to work.  just what i heard.  it seems to do ok for you though

I've never "reset" the computer, but someone else here may say you have to. Sorry I can't help you more on this, but my intake works great still.

ok i disconnected the battery for 12 hours.  ill tell you if i make any gains in mpg on this tank.  oh by the way, is your titan an 04 or 05.  maybe there is a difference b/w the 2.  i have an 05..
