Yep, pretty much as I suspected, an assembly line error. I'd go ahead and let them install the lever, then watch it closely. Get a receipt for the work performed, even if it costs nothing.
Good Luck! |

I wonder why they didn't put the lumbar support on the passenger side. I think that is just plain stupid.

Meaning they had to get it out the door....J/K

Update:
I still have not received the lever from the Dealer yet. They said Nissan told them they only make these for production and don't keep a surplus on hand. They wait till they have a large enough request, then will make the extras.
I told my dealer, "they have to have at least one extra around; they didn't put one on my truck!"
He laughed. I wish they would hurry. I told him I'm glad I wasn't waiting for something more essential, like an engine part or something.

I called the dealer last week and complained that Nissan still has not
sent me a lumbar lever. I told the dealer I knew it wasn't their
fault, but I thought it was BS I was the one that had to wait when it
was Nissan that didn't supply me with the parts in the first place.
I got a call back last Friday evening from the Service Manager at the
dealer. He took a handle off another truck and asked me to come
in today so they can install it. I didn't expect that from the
dealer, but I think that was the correct way to handle it since I have
been waiting over 2 months for this handle now.

Finally got my lumbar lever installed. They did rob one from
another truck. Nissan still had not gotten back to the dealer as
to when handles would be available from them.
At least I am set now

Well Evil, You are one persistent fella!! Glad it finally worked out. Sounds like your dealer is OK too.. Best of luck with the new (well, not so new now) Titan. Mine is still great, best vehicle I ever bought. Makes me grin every time I drive it.
