Ya that was the hole taco. Plates came to the house. Truck had 190 miles on it though. Didn't know that till I got to the dealership.
I found dealer invoice on internet. Edmunds.com I think. I contacted dealers through internet depts. Once no one would go lower I figured I was at the bottom. That was 500 over dealer invoice. I called one dealer and told him that they were both at the same price. So I was going to go with the dealer that spent all the time test driving the Trucks. He said he would go to 250 over. I told him I dont mind someone making a profit. I just dont want to pay 2 thousand more than I should. Asked his unbias opinon. Ya your getting a good deal, I haven't sold one that cheap in a while. Im doing it to keep my #s up. Ok thanks for the help.
Dealer found silver le at another dealership in town. But it was 60 miles away. They couldn't do the deal without chargeing transport fee. But that dealer would match the price. I tiped the salesman and bought it over there.
I used to think I should have waited for one to come in. (the miles thing). But if I'm taking a 20% loss for buying it new. & I'm only going to have it 2 or 3 years. What's the point in giving it a perfect break in. I started enjoying my 20 % the day I got it. Just no full mash in top gear.
pertainent info. 3 dealers in houston area would sell for same price. As for the break in. I guess we have to run em.
