Speed Sensative wipers eh? I've never noticed. They always seem to go at the same speed I thought.

Actually, bridges will start icing over above freezing due to the fact that the wind & air can also get to the bottom of the bridge also, so of there is a wind of any sort the bridges will have ice and the roads will be clear, thus the warning by most bridges stating the potential icing problems.

When you have them set on intermittent, they are speed sensative...as far as I know when they are set on LOW or HIGH the speed does not change.

All has to do with the loss of heat. Hit that right on the head.

put em on intermittent last night, and slowly came to a stop. No difference in speed.

Maybe its part of a pkg, but I dont think so...I just wonder if yours aint working right?, not that its a big deal, I was just shocked when I noticed the feature and then even more when I confirmed it by reading it in the manual....keep on truckin
