Beware of losing torque with the Banks' decrease of backpressure!

You are correct, too little back pressure can hurt torque numbers such as a "straight pipe". Banks has a bullet proof track record of producing high quality / performing products. The Monster system is no exception.... Every customer that we've installed this system on has raved about the additional power and mileage increases. The stock Titan exhaust system is very restrictive, especially the "Y-pipe". Just to prove a point, get under your truck and notice how "Purple" the "Y-pipe" has discolored.

Make no mistake, too little back pressure IS bad, however the Banks system is the perfect balance between noise and power.

I know a dealer that sells the system for 549.00 plus freight!

Finally my Banks Monster Exhaust was delivered today. I ordered directly from Banks , in California. they did a great delivery job, less than 1 week to South Florida.. Tomorrow morning I am having my shop put it on for me  at 8 a.m. great timing, tonight I put my baby to bed with 996 miles, break in is over.  I am then driving to Daytona Beach for the 400. I cant wait to see the gas mileage. On a 125 mile open highway ride I got 15.3 mpg, only 12.3 city.

 I will keep everyone interested informed, and I want to find out how to make a audio tape. If anyone can tell me how to do it I would appreciate it.

The banks power system is loud, especially with the KN off road intake.  I also installed JBA headers.  The end result is a very loud combination, which is exactly what I wanted.  I am getting high 13's low 14's mpg in the city and about 20 on the highway.  If you want a quietier exhaust, try the Magnaflow.  The banks system is fairly loud, epecially on the highway but the sound is truely amazing.
