Nothing Nissan tried out worked to fix it and replacing the display was pointless since it only displays what is sent to it in the first place. It's not hurting anything, it's just weird to see the graphics appear on and off. It was probably easier for Nissan to just change the Titan to Auto Climate for '06 than to try and fix the glitch.
