Unfortunately...not here in Georgia.  I too wanted to match the tint on my front door windows to that of the rear door windows and back glass.  Was told if I signed some kind of CYA paperwork saying that I had a "medical condition" that required dark tinting, they would do it.  They told me that without the CYA paper they could be held liable should I get pulled over.  I asked what my odds were of getting stopped for illegal window tint and they said pretty damn good in this town.  Apparently all the cops know that all of the newer crew cab pickemups should have a distinct difference in window tint between the front & rear.  Which makes for an easy prey and another "tax collection" if ya know what I mean.
