I live in Anthem. Just purchased a new 4x4 SE crew cab on Wednesday. Traded in a '00 Xterra and came over from the Xterra Owner's Club board. Still getting used to the truck with a couple of days of driving it. I went with the Titan for it's towing capability, got the big tow pkg and offroad pkg to haul my sandrail to the dunes. I'll be selling my motorhome and buying a toyhauler, the Titan should do rather well with that combination.

I sure hope to see a lot more of us here on the board, always makes it more interesting. Anyway, new guy here and I hope my Titan ownership experience is somewhere near what the Xterra was, had a great time with it.

The new ride-

Welcome to the forum and keep us posted as to how well your turck handles all the towing. Some members have had issues with the rearend going out.

Thanks for the welcome. I put 2 rear ends in the X and it was whinning again at 45 mph when I traded it. Still under powertrain warranty by 1000 miles so the dealer will most likely replace it before reselling it. I've got a buddy that works at a Nissan dealership and he told me about the problems they're having with the Titan. Mostly rear ends and front brake problems with ones that do daily towing.

I've always had great warranty service from Nissan (wife used to be the service manager at a couple different dealers) so I'm not too concerned about it. Nissan has had recent problems with their process for manufacturing rear ends and I would imagine they'll get it right some day. They've always stood behind their product with problems in my experience, I don't think the Titan will be any different. They're on their 3rd brake fix on the Titan now but no one has put enough miles on them to find out if it's going to be the correct fix or not yet. Time will tell I guess.

Yeah, time will tell. We just started getting the jitters form our brakes this weekend on the way home So, I guess I have to spend another 6 hours at the dealer to get it fixed
