I think because you have rear locking differential.

That's it.

Thanks

I have 4 wheel drive and the "VDC". And after driving to the marsh to work on my duck blind, when the 4 wheel drive is engaged ALL 4 WHEELS PULL AND SPIN. I towed a stuck Ford out of the mud and left 4 long black marks on the hard surface I was towing from.

VDC is good stuff now take that same day and instead of pulling a Fix Or Repair Daily out of the mud try is whip the wheel side to side while accelerating. That should give you all you need unfortunately to ruin the fun.

IQ9: First, let me apologize for allowing my ignorance to show so blatantly. I fancy myself a fairly knowledgable person when it comes to performance automobiles. Just shows you how far these vehicles have come. I am knowledgable about the muscle cars of my era, the 69 GTX, early 70's Mach 1's, my last rods were a 2001 Cobra, then a 2002 Harley Davidson Edition Supercharger F150. I must say that this truck is the nicest vehicle I haver owned to date. I would like to thank you for educating me in a very classy manner. You answered questions I did not know how to ask, if ignorance were rain, I would be drowning. Thank You for sharing your knowledge. I was not angry, I was being facetious about the Japs making up names for their features. I guess I still harbor a bit of anger that Ford refuses to build a satisfactory vehicle. I have owned 28 new Fords since 1980, for business and pleasure. My wife now drives a V6 Altima and I drive a Titan, just shows you how the Japs are hurting the American car manufacturers. The American car makers have no one to blame but themselves. This truck has features I have yet to discover. Nearly every day I find something new, just look at it and say, "why didn't the Americans think of this". Again, Thank You and May God Bless You

I have always had german made autos and all I can say is there are reasons they are better but only slightly better. I was hoping you would not take my response as a flame but I know the VDC stuff inside and out...that being the fun and the unfun I am just in love Nissan and their vision but part of that comes from Renault and Ghosen. The next Nissan will have to be a GTR either a 2007 or a 2001 Nur Spec. I have always thought that the american auto makers have been hunted by everyone. That seems to be why they buy parts of thier competitors but they don't seem to put much of what they bought into thier own vehicles. Its maddening.

I am really glad we can be friends!!
