I have just over 1200 miles on my cc 4x4, and are getting a tad over 12mpgs.
Did not expect much better when I bought it.

OMG....another miracle gas mileage device. Things like this have been created for years and never have they proven themselves out. The article doesn't say jack. Everyone knows the ideal fuel/air ratio is 14:1, big deal. In order to get emissions down engineers have gone to lean burn engines. So if the engine is already operating in a lean state what in the hell is a 50 buck device gonna do?
That's right.
NOTHING!
I'm not skeptical...I just don't believe it's possible.
BTW, I can set my clock by my fuel gage - quarter mark = 100 miles, half way mark = 200 miles, three quarters = 300 miles, and light on is 400 miles.
Unless I'm towing.
Tom

Geez...My light just came on and I'm at 300 miles...wtf?!...The last time I filled up when the light came on, I still had apprx 6 gallons of fuel left in the tank....(ie..took 22 gals to fill'er up) How much do you have left when yours comes on?

Sounds about right. I usually have about 6-7 gallons left when
the light comes on (about 300 miles on the trip meter). The tank
holds 28 gallons.

Just got the truck last month. On the first tank of gas which was
mostly highway miles, we got 15.1 and the second which was combination
highway and city driving, we got 14.2. The truck only has 900 miles on
it so I know it will get better with time and if I learn to keep the
"roar" to a minimum. It just sounds to good to be kept quiet don't it???

75-80mph with modest bed load.
About 14mpg both ways.

When you think about how many trucks are out there sucking down all that gas. It doesn't seem right not to give us a real overdrive. I understand looking out for #1. But how much are all of us paying to cover their butt for the few that would tow in overdrive. Not cool. Not cool at all. Too us or the planet.
