Yeah, happened to me too.  I listened to the radio while pumping and it stayed at 1/4 of a tank.  I didn't have time to worry with it at the time so I let it go.  When I came out from work and started it up, it started the slow crawl up to full.  The problem hasn't come back,  but I haven't left the key on while pumping since then either (just in case).

Well, it is nice to know I'm not the only one and the problem does go away.

Thanks for the reply.

I dropped my truck off at the dealer tonight and asked them about the gas gauge issue.  They said they had never heard of a loose gas cap making the gauge do that.  They said generally, a loose gas cap will make the 'Check Engine' light come on.

I told them I would keep an eye on the gauge and see if it acted up anymore.

They did have all the parts in stock to fix my seat belt recall and window, depending on if it was another bad master switch or another bad window motor. Either way I'll have it back tomorrow.

See my post here for the latest on my windows still not working.

They said they pressure checked the coolant system and found no problems., yet when I brought it home from the dealer, I again smelled the antifreeze smell once I got out of the truck.

They did do the recall work on the rear seatbelts.

I had the same problem with my gas guage only one time.  It took about an hour for it to fully reach the full mark but it never happened again.  I thought it was about the time that the "break in period" was ending for the engine but since it didn't do it again I have never really thought about it.

Mine havent so far that I have noticed, but I never have the radio off so I guess they could be a little w/o me noticing it.

Thanks for the comment. Hopefully that was the only time for my gas gauge too.

Now, if I can just find the antifreeze smell!
