I'm taking my truck back in to the dealer to have them look at my driver's power window again as stated here, but...

I was on the way home today and a couple more things happened I noticed:

1. I stopped for gas tonight and left the key on Aux so I could continue to listen to my stereo while filling up.  After I filled up, I got back in the truck, started the engine and my gas guage stayed at its last position of 1/4 tank!  I drove the rest of the way home and it maybe moved up a millimeter or two, but that was it.  When I got home, I thought maybe it was because I restarted the truck from the Aux position instead of turning it all the way off.  I shut the truck off all the way, then turned the key back to ON to reset all the gauges....no luck.  The guage still showed slightly above 1/4 tank even though I filled up with 21 gallons of gas.  WTF?  I'll see what it does tomorrow after being off all night.

2.  When I pulled into my garage, shut the truck off and got out, I smelled a significant antifreeze smell.  I have noticed this several times over the last couple months too, after getting out of the truck.  I looked under the hood and see no leaks or steam from a leak, but can smell the antifreeze if I smell near the radiator cap or overflow tank.

3.  I got the recall notice in the mail today regarding the seatbelt holder on the side railing.  I called the dealer and they said this was about a 2 hour fix and would take care of it when I brought it in for the other stuff.

Anyone else notice any off my issues listed in numbers 1 and 2?

Let me know.  Thanks!

noticed that same antifreeze smell when I park the truck. Found that  there is A leak. This one is coming from hose that conects to the engine oil cooler by the oil filter. Found it by getting under the truck with it running. drips real slow. Havent had time to fix it or take it to the dealer yet.

So, you found it was actually leaking antifreeze?

Yes, drips slow. If you smell antfreeze you probably got a leak.

This evening got under the truck and adusted the hose and clamp hoping this will fix the leak. Tomorrow morning I should know for sure.

My sister had the same smell with her altima, I know their completely different vehicles, but, maybe it's one of those areas that each manufacturer is known for having a flaw in....Like we all know, Nissan has always put underpowered brakes on their cars.....can't wait to see what AP racing comes out with to fix that issue.

Don't have any of the problems you listed but I have read about them before. I have also read the TSB for the recall you mentioned and have also heard on another forum for the Titans that the recall made the seat belt rattle after the work was done so since it's a voluntary recall, I'm not bringing mine in.  Sure don't need any unnecessary rattles in a new truck with only 900 miles on it. Keep us posted on what you find out when you make your service visit.

The adjustment I made on the hose and clamp fixed the leak. It's was an easy fix just a little hard to get to. Took about 15 min. How long you think I'd have to wait for the dealer to fix it?

Can you give me exact details where to look so I can see if I have the same issue, please?  I am still smelling if, but have yet to find the leak.

I picture would be extremely helpful!

Thanks.

pilot4net,

I believe you should be fine seat belt-wise if you just recently bought your truck. Mine was "born" in July and already has the correct one. The factory incorporated the fix after a certain VIN#. No need to take it in...

Yeah, you can call your dealer and give them your VIN.  They can tell from that if you need this particular seatbelt recall or not.
