Most to dream, but really I think there is a conspiracy between the auto makers and the oil company's. I had a 1980 Honda civic that got 45 mpg, yes I know there is a huge difference but my point is if a car got 45 mpg today this car would be put on a pedestal. Don't understand why more can't be done about the abuse. Funny thing is I'm a Bush fan.

i really dont mean to sound like a d!ck here, but....... if your all looking for great MPG, then why did you buy a 5000lbs + truck with a monster v8? lol |

Didn't buy the truck for gas mileage, but really expected more than 10 to 11 MPG empty, window sticker stated 15 to 18 and would have been satisfied with 16, doesn't matter any more since I now have a 05 chevy crewcab HD2500 (weighs around 5883 LBS which is heavier than the Crewcab Titan)with the 6.0 which does get right at 16 consistently empty running 75 MPH down the road, as soon as the 07 pickups are available, will be trading again for a diesel this time, the interiors have been changed substantially in the 07'S, the new Tahoes are already at the dealerships and the interior is sweet!!!!!

Just a suggestion, however I have seen several Titan owners have success with improving their gas mileage by a simple mod. Get yourself a high performance Cold Air Intake and Exhaust to match. You will get greater then a 5 MPG increase.

dude, no way. I dont care what vehicle it is, no mod is gonna grab you that kinda MPG. Especially on a V8. You're biggest gain on MPG on any vehicle would be a program change. You're MPG would increase slightly with a CIA and exhaust but even 2mpg is askin a lot!

5 MPG was stated by a few customers. You know how that goes. :) I would love to see an actual measured test. I agree it may only be 2 or 3 MPG, however still worth it with gas prices these days.
