I get a pretty hefty clunk too...sounds like its coming from the bed.  From what other members have said, I'll start by tightening up the shock mounting bolts this weekend.

i was told by the dealer that the rancho shocks on the off road package may be the problem.  When the truck hits a bump, the shock extends but there is not enough shaft of the shock.  it bottoms out.
