I put my tie down cleats, the rachet tie dpwns, gloves and jumper cables in it. It is bigger than it seems.

I put all the things that go along with the bed rails, tie down straps, some small wrenches, basically any thing that will clang that i dont want to hear inside the truck goes in there. I find that little nook quite usefull actually and since its water proof you know everything is safe even when taking a boat in and out of the water.

Hitch, wiring converter plug, couple of ratchet straps, bungies, gloves. Don't put anything in there you expect to stay clean however. Dust gets in big time.

Tire Gauge, Wrench, Utili-rack tie downs, tie-down straps and an ice scraper.

I keep the tie downs wrapped in an old pillow case because they scuffed up the plastic liner quite-a-bit before I decided to wrap them up. Yup, I'm nit picky!
