OTOH ...on the other hand

I traded a 2000 Rodeo for my Titan. I loved it. Had it 3 years with no problems, but only had about 45K miles on it when I traded tho. If youre worried about towing...dont. The Titan's 5.6L V8 will out haul any V6 with a manual tranny.

The Triptronic shifter for the first four gears really sold me on the titan V8 especially going downhill,no more riding the brakes for us eh? Also I hear if you really really really want manual titan you can get it but it must be a special order from factory (don't quote me on this)

I would suggest this reduces production costs for year 1. We may see a manual in the near future - once the Titan turns profit.

Turn profit? Isnt this the vehicle that singly increased sales and profits for nissan significantly, far surpassing their own expectation? I did read that somewhere, cant remember tho. Probably thier website

I've always driven manuals also, and was going to go to a manual before I drove this truck. If you get the gated shifter you can control this automatic just like a manual without the clutch. I like having a manual because I climb mountains on my way to work and back every day and having an automatic can be a pain in the rear - but with this gated shifter that you can slap back & forth between gears it's just as good as having a manual.

I think it was smart thinking from Nissan - in the not-too-distant future manuals will probably be a thing of the past.

I believe the Big Tow pkg comes with a manual column shifter; that's the first Titan I test drove.

The column shifter comes with the bench seat. If you have the captains chairs and the center console, you get the console shifter.
