A forum member recommended that a sub-forum be created just for brake problems. While I don't have that authority to creat sub-forums I can make these sticky topics. So please feel free to use this sticky post to chime in about your issues with the Titan's brake problems.
My personal experience has already been posted, but here's a recap. I started noticing the front brake vibration at about 11,000 mile. I took it to me dealer and he was quick to order the "fix-it kit." I was finally able to replace the brakes at 16,000 miles. (I had to remind the dealer about the order on my 15K service) So far, I'm up to 18,000 miles and that brake kit replacement seems to be performing well.

I just went back today for mine, less then 500 miles after the cutting of the rotors, new pads and hardware mine started the judder again. However now they want to replace the rotors. I have to wait 2 weeks for them to come in though.

I'm looking at getting a 4x4 full size in about 4-6 months. I like the idea of a central brake issue folder/forum so I can see if and when Nissan fixes this problem.
If it does get fixed, I think I will get the Titan. If it isn't fixed by then, I may go with a Tundra.

Serch, you mentioned the new rotors are these the ones that are supposed to be the fix or is it just the standard replacement rotors? I am still waiting to hear about my arbitration date. Since my last post along with my "juttering rotor issue (which is back with a vengance # 5) my brake pedal started going all the way to the floor and it now feels like the steering column is getting loose. I called Nissan to update them and they basically said... "Thanks, we'll up-date your file. WHERE DOES IT END!!!

I'm on my third set of rotors and pads and I don't have 10k on it yet. This is just the tip of a big iceberg of issues I have had. And till now never been upset with all the issues. But now It is getting to be to much.

I know what you mean, I guess it would help if Nissan actually seemed concerned about the problems with the truck. I hope everyone that is having trouble will post on this topic. In the end, I think it will help us all, especialy people that are having to battle with Nissan to get them to do the right thing. It is a shame that they force you into arbitration or to file Lemon Law suits as apposed to just taking care of their loyal customers. I even sent Certified Letters to the President of Nissan North America as well as the President of Build Quality... Not a word from either or any of their peeons. Thanks again Nissan!

My original brake issue didn't start until about 2500 miles and got progressively worse, at 6500 miles the steering wheel would shake violentley. Good luck.

scooter,
Is it your local dealer your working with or Nissan's Coporate offices? I'm only curious besauce the dealer that sold me my Titan has taken great care of me. When I hinted at the brakes, he already had the warrenty service ticket written up for me. My hope id that maybe your dealer isn't big on customer service and that Nissan is more forthcoming with their help.
Either way I hope your issues are all worked out!
