Same here. Never got mine fixed. Can't come up with the time. If they say they can't replicate the prob. Roll the windows all the way down. Then roll the windows up useing the key in the door. If my windows are all the way down this fails every time. Makes a slight move up then goes back down. Some think it's related to a safety feature to not squish the mentally challenged.

Yeah, you wish that some moderator would throw any whiny replies
straight into a misc. whine bin. Sure, it's okay to vent on a public
forum, but at least give them a designated area to do so.
I'm laughing about the "too small of rotor" myth. Nissan replaced the
rotors because they wanted an extra precaution on top of the improved
pads. Give 'em some credit for that!

Check with an attorney in your state. It is three in California. And yes they do buy them back. I got a all my money back on an 04 Titan or a new 2005. My choice. Cost of the attorney was also paid by Nissan. Good luck.

I noticed my brake problem at 1600 miles, the steering wheel would shake when I barked at 30 mph and under. It took 2 days to get the parts in. So far so good, I haven't had any problems (yet).

I was hoping I wouldn't develop the brake judder, but I guess it's a definite occurence. So at 7900 miles my 04 Crew Cab LE is at the dealership getting the "Brake Upgrade" as they refer to it in the service dept.
Parts were in stock and no waiting until the 3rd occurence anymore, according to the service advisor.

The rotors are not 'too small' the dia is acceptable.
The issue is related to both pad compound and rotor width. The pad has, or had, a tendancy to have high transfer to the rotor. The rotor by being thin runs hotter than it could if the rotor cheeks were thicker and overall rotor width were increased thus having a wider air gap. The ultimate may be directional rotors as well, but I don't think youi'll ever see that.
