Im trying to figure out how to remove just the semi-circlular panel where the NAV should go. I've mounted my radar detector there but want to drill a small hole for the power cord to go straight down into the dash. any ideas? I've gotten the front panel off but cant get the top pieces off. Is the top one whole piece?

Did you ever get an answer?  I'm thinking about mounting an XM Commander on that flat spot.

That is what I needed!! I really appreciate the info. I pulled off the front panel and I think with a little luck I should be able to replace my Sirius receiver w/o removing anything else. Man I got so much to do this weekend...lol..keep on truckin

hey, i forgot to mention, if you unplug all the connectors on the radio face panel, after your plug it all back in your airbag lite will be flashing, this is normal, let me know if you do that, ill post the directions on how to reset the lite

here it is just incase im not around today lol

1)turn ignition switch from off to on
2)within 1 second after the aribag light starts to flash immeditely turn the ignition off
3)after ignition is off, wait for more than 5 seconds
4)then repeat steps 1 through 3---do all steps 3 times
5)turn the ignition on, and the airbag sensor should go off and not flash anymore
