I had mine into service last weekend, they are

The alignment is off too but they tried to avoid repairing that with a
tire rotation... obviously that did not correct the allignment
problem. |

That sucks. Hopefully your dealer will step up the service a little.
My dealership here in Denver is great (hence the reason we have bought
3 cars from them). They called me 3 and a half hours after they
opened this morning to tell me my truck was all done. They put in
the new sub woofer and driver's window motor.
I'll pick it up tonight and make sure they didn;t leave any dirty
finger prints or other tell-tale signs they worked on it. I'll
let everyone know how it seems tomorrow.

Ok!
Truck is back in my garage and all fixed! Subwoofer is "bumpin'" again and the stereo sounds sweet once more.
Window motor is replaced so no I should have no fear of using the auto-down / auto-up feature as much as I want!

The window doesn't always go up. But, it also kinda drops when you open it. Do you have a noise problem with your tires at about 40 mph?

No, no tire problems. In fact, no "noticeable" problems right now.

Found out there are 28 people waiting at my dealer for the brake kit parts for the "jitter" problem.
At about 70/80 mph the cab and bed bounces a lot... I'll have to check at 40.

Well I picked up my Silver Titan fully loaded 4X4, Crew Cab,
LE, December 17th 2003 in Tracy California. On that day according to the
dealer locator there were only two on the west coast one in Texas and one in
Tracy, CA. So I drove the 300 miles from No LA County to get it. I
have had three problems with it so far. The first was the selling
dealer's fault. It was shipped without a gas door and they took one off
of another truck to put on mine and screwed up the latch. That is getting
replaced.
The second problem I had was the driver side window, not the switch and
not the motor. On the Friday before Labor Day Weekend I rolled the window
down to cool off the cab and it dropped partially off the track. It would
go up but only part way because it would get stuck. When I looked at it
the window was not all the way in the track. Maybe Kevin's problem is
just that the window isn't sitting properly in the track and the motor can't
handle it or that the track is bent slightly and no one is paying attention to
that fact. The only thing left is the track the window sits in and the
gaskets sealing it. Not too far fetched that maybe something got tweaked
and now the whole track needs replacing.
The third thing I had a problem with was YES the excessive break dust and at
10K miles my front pads were completely gone. I called the dealer and
Nissan corporate and they both told me that 10K miles for such a heavy vehicle
was not unreasonable especially since I towed a trailer occasionally. I
would have to prove to them that the breaks were defective which lets face it
they aren't defective just under designed for this size of vehicle.
I didn't wait for the original rotors on the truck to go. I didn't bother
taking it back to the dealer for the breaks. The breaks are actually
pretty good but the break life sucks. I have an extremely good solution
if you are willing. My previous vehicle was a 1998 Chevy Suburban which
is notorious for bad breaks. I contacted a company near me called Applied Rotor Technologies and put
Cryogenic rotors and drums and carbon-metallic compound pads on the Suburban. My
breaking capacity increased at least 20% and my break life went from 10K miles
in rush hour traffic to 40K miles.
So when the breaks went on the Nissan I called the same company and begged them
to get the blanks for my new 4X4 Titan and have them Cryo'd so that I could
improve the breaks on my truck. They sent me the new Cryo'd and Slotted rotors and Carbon-Kevlar pads and I
am totally in love with them.
1. far far far less break dust
2. far better breaking ability
3. I have 7K miles on the new pads and they are not even 50% worn yet.
The stock pads would be almost gone by now.
4. The breaks don't heat up and fade under excessive breaking in rush hour
traffic.
5. the breaks and rotors work great in panic stop situations. Actually
stopped sooner than I expected.
If your breaks are out of warranty the only way to go in my opinion is
with the
breaks I got from Applied Rotor Technologies. I also have
their rotors and pads on our 1999 Chevy Camaro
SS which is notorous for warping front rotors. Hasn't yet in 2
years of use and trust me it gets plenty of high speed breaking
that should really heat up and warp the rotors.

as far as brakes go.....nothing can beat the guys at stillen. They actually use the same brakes as Formula One cars, Indy cars, NASCAR, Rally cars, They just came out with two brake systems for our trucks, one requires a 20 inch wheel but uses a 6 piston caliper and a 15" rotor. and the other uses a 2-piston caliper and can be used with stock wheels I think. Anyways, that's my suggestion.
