Big tow kc. 14 city, 10-12 when I use the big toe.
What about you XE's. I remember test driving an XE. It seemed like the 17" wheels made up for the taller gear. If anything, I'd say it had a littel more go. The smaller wheels probably cancel out the gear difference. When you figure in the style per mile traveled factor. I understand why no XE's have posted mpg figs.

I dont think they made many XEs, relatively speaking. At the 4 dealerships where I shopped, 90% of the trucks they had in stock were SE & LE's....I prolly would have bought an XE if I could have gotten one with power windows and doors.

If scooter is getting 14.5 in a kc 2 wheel with no tow. It looks like any difference is going to come from the tire size. There is still the driving habbit thing to figure in. It will take at least five xe posts to get a average. In time, with more posts. Maybe your question will be answered. I call it your's because you asked it first. I would like to know as well. I think's. Hopefully I won't want to go out and get 17's & a taller gear cause then I couldn't pull my trailer. Wait a minute.... Think I just answered my own question.

I have the KC 4x4 with Big Tow . Mixed Interstate (75) and local two lane (55) up and down hills, I get 15.5~16.5. Best I ever did was 17.9 on 200 miles of 2 lane @55mph.

I have a 4x4 with the Big-Tow and Off-Road packages. I get 12 city, 14.5 mixed and 18.5 highway (all cruise all the time). I towed my empty 1100 pound trailer and got 14 highway. On the return trip the trailer was loaded, total weight 3200 pounds and I got 12 highway. I would hate to see the gas mileage pulling 9500 pounds.

I get 10.5 pulling a loaded toy hauler on flat land 8000#s. My diesel dully will do it around 14. You get more butt wag without the four tires in the back too. But the dully in done pulling on the off time. The wife won't get in it since we got the titan. Hell I don't want to either. Sept to make a buck.

I don't know yet, haven't finished with the first tank! If I get 300 miles on the first tank, I'll be somewhat happy. Still trying to get it broken in.
