Just wondering if anyone has had this problem:
It all started by dropping the truck of at the dealer on Nov. 18 for a free oil change, radio sevice bulletin check and rear saftey belt recall. When I picked up the truck I noticed they hit something with the front plastic bumper. The service manager told me they would fix it when my new radio came in. I agreed. My problem started as I left the dealer's lot, I got about 100 yrds and the slip light came on applied the drivers side brake and pulled to the left lane by itself. Luckily no oncomming traffic. I went back to the dealer got the service manager and went for a ride with him so he could see the problem. He did. They had the truck since the 18th of nov, stated no error codes, also the got nissan tech support involved and the wanted line graphs done of all sensors before making a recommendation. The dealer went on thier own taking sensors and parts off of a new truck from the lot to try to fix mine. no luck. Bottom line I called today and am being told my truck is fixed. when I asked wht the fix was the told me nissan support told them to check for EXCESSIVE GREASE on the speed sensor. I told the service rep to really tell me what the fix was because I didn't buy his fix or have any problems before dropping it off to them and I have 8000 miles on the truck. Has anyone else had any problems with VDC or ABS that could shed some light on this. Does anyone buy what the dealer told me? I don't.I told them not to make the mistake of releasing a unsafe truck to me because I tow with it and don't want it to occur while towing. Any input would be appreciated.
THANKS. Also I opened a case with the nissan consumer afairs and have not heard from them. I am going to call them back for more answers.
