I read that the Fosgate package comes with rear sonar....is that only for 2005 or is this in the 2004 models?  I don't see sonar on mine anywhere.

On the '05s this is one of the RF option packages.  Reverse sensing system is what I believe you're talking about.

This is on the 05 without the RF package

Its pretty sweet and you can turn it off with the touch of a button. Helps when trying to park the beast!

I wish I had it.

While I am asking...what is the power button on the homelink for?  The only thing that I have found is that it turns off the compass and temp gauge in the mirror.

here's a cheap solution that works great:

http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PR OD_ID=21092

I got mine last week and am waiting to install it this weekend... I saw this over on Titantalk.com and it seems like it will do the job nicely.

Price looks good. Not realy a fan of turning it off. Sept to back a boat in the water or such.  Even pimps if the lailgate is down. Thats came in handy so no complaints here.

You can shut it off but it resets every time you turn the truck off. So if you DON'T like the feature it can be a pain. Personally, with the off road package I can't see a small car right behind me so it works great for me.

The 04 models do not come with the rear sonar.

The 05 LE or SE w/the SE popular Package or Rockford Fosgate Package have the rear sonar built in.
