Just wondering for those of us that live in the colder weather(I'm in NJ) How long do you let your TITAN warm up in the morning before you drive it ????

I've noticed my gas mileage has decreased quite abit this winter!!!

Most cars it is best to start driving as soon as possible to get the engine up to proper operating temperature, which takes much longer (hence more wear) when you're sitting there at idle. It is not nearly as cold in Tennessee as New Jersey, but nonetheless I pretty much don't leave any warm-up time at all; maybe just a few seconds while I'm getting myself belted in, radio on, etc.

Live in Minnesota (Can,does, and will get down to 35 below zero) I will let it warm up for 1 to 2 minutes tops, I have the luxury of living in the country and can get out on the road and drive moderately and increase my speed as the truck warms up, won't hit 60 for a couple of miles and the gauge does start coming in this amount of time, gas mileage will definitely decrease when it gets cold, not just the Titan (They all do!!!!!!) letting it idle is just wasting more fuel and even after 10 to 15 minutes when its below zero the heat gauge still isn't off the bottom, always keep mine in a garage which isn't heated "YET". Don't want to push any vehicle hard until it has adequately warmed up. Currently have a White 2004 LE Crew Cab 4X4 with the Off Road and Big Tow Package.

I live in VA.  While it is not as cold as NJ - only by a few deg. - I let it warm up for about 15 min.  That is teh time it takes for me to walk the dog!  So not that it needs 15 min, just that what it takes and saves me time.  I start it, lock it with the key FOB and away we go for our walk.  when I come back, the cabin is HOT, the windows are clear and I am ready to go!

5 minutes is about normal for the PNW, but this winter it is taking 10 minutes for the windows to clear and warm totally up (it was 20F when it took 10 minutes)

Yea, I agree with you JohnBoy !!!! I live in NJ and in December we had a 10 degree morning. It took ALONG time for the TITAN to warm up and clear the windows....

Anyone else notice the long warmup time to clear the windows?????
