Stupid me, loading my ATV trailer forgot to retrack the third wheel on the trailer and caused a 2 foot scratch and dent on my tail gate.  I am looking for a tail gate in perfect condition, scratches ok will paint color of truck.  Black Galaxy prefered.

Seeing how the damn thing weighs about as much as a passenger. It looks like it's cargo net time. Loosing a hundred pounds at the vary end of the truck may have an adverse effect on the handeling. I don't see those boys useing an extra 50 pounds of steel for the hell of it. Before you spend the money. I'd take a hard drive in it. Take it off & make the same drive. See if there is any difference. If you still want to go stock. Try a junk yard with a national hot line. If you find one. Check the price against a OEM parts dealer on the net. Usually much better than the counter price at the local dealer.

I just signed onto the forum I have worked twenty plus years at nissan dealerships and we have a tail gate in white with some line-x on the inside I can ask the service manager if he wants to part with it and how much $ as a matter of fact I replaced the entire bed of the truck. The bed was repaired with line x and did not look good enough for a picky owner... Some one who actually uses there truck might really like the thick bed liner. Bed has tool box cover & tail gate

I need the tail gate to hold the rear of my atv when transporting.  I have a crew cab so the bed is just a bit short. Here in South Florida, the dealers are charging me for a new tail gate 1,200 -  I thought you could just replace the skin but that's not the issue.  John Paul, e-mail me if you still have that used tail gate, my e-mail is denjen@bellsouth.net  and thanks guys for the advice.
