There are some guys at my work place who drive Dodge and have said that while racing each other, there govener limits the speed at 110mph. But, when this happens, they can gently push forward on their ignition key, and it does something like resetting the computer, and allows them to surpass the 110 mph limit. Anyone heard of this? For a Titan? I'm not willing to test, but was curious to know if anyone has tried.

Yikes. I'm sorry, but I didn't mean for anyone to try it just cuz some Dodge drivers said it worked on theirs. That's why I didn't want to try it. But the case can be closed on it I guess if all it did was grind the starter. I hope your truck is ok man, I sure didn't mean for anyone to try it, was just wondering if anyone had heard of it.

Sorry I was just kidding about grinding the starter.  It was late and for some reason I thought it would look like a joke.  I wouldn't try it, but I'm sure when they get a chip for these things it will increase the red line and remove the govenor.

Dude that was pretty fuuny.   But all new cars made for sell in the US must have a govner over-ride.  110 sounds about right ... some cars are 140 (at least my friends volvo is).
