Our local NISSAN dealer is a building full of morons. Doesn't look like a Manual tranni is available in '05 either... Anyone know if they plan on making one?

I have heard the auto tranni is a dream... I still like having my gears.

BTW, how does the Titan corner?

For me, a tall guy with a bad back, I don't miss the clutch foot pedal at all. Drinking a cup of coffee in traffic has never been so nice.

I have a SE with the column shifter. The column shifter allows me to shift like a manual transmission but with the flick of a thumb. The gate shifter only allows a shift between 1-2 and 3-4. And yes the truck does hold the gears. The only bad part, I cannot use the 5th gear when in the manual mode. But then again I only use it when I am towing a trailer.

I've heard no rumblings of a manual shift in the future.
