Has anyone upgraded the sub with an aftermarket 8'.   I'm wanting to do this with one that will be a direct bolt in to the OEM sub box under the drivers seat.  The OEM sub depth would be some helpful information.  Thanks.

I do have the RF system and much to my surprise the only thing RF is the head unit.  I had some high end speakers from my previous vehicle that I thought would make the system sound better, they do. Upon removal the speakers are Clarion.  I did a little more research and there's not an 8' aftermarket sub that will fit due to depth issues. Most 8' aftermarket subs are nearly 4' deep and the OEM one is just over 3'.

So what are the speakers in the RF pkg if the head unit is the only thing RF?

The door speakers with the RF system are Clarion.  Don't know about the center channel or sub as I didn't remove them.

I was looking into adding a box to my truck with 2x10" going under the bench seat in the back. I have the king cab. They were going to build a box that went from side to side, subs shooting down. Then they were going to put the plexy glass on top so that you could see into it. But the quoted me a price of $350 for the whole price of building. Is there any company that might build this cheaper at all? Any suggestions?
