2004 Titan LE 's come with heated front seats as standard equipment.  Mine did not.  There were no on/off switches on the console where they were supposed to be.  I had to educate dealer people, regional reps and the customer service folks that the seats were supposed to be heated, as per the Moroney label on the window.

At first I was told they would have to disassemble the dash, seats, and console to determine what needed to be done to remedy the production error.  That was not acceptable to me.  Dealing with any national customer service organization can be frustrating.  With the help of a very good service department @ Carson City (NV) Jeep/Nissan, it was discovered that the seats in the truck actually were the correct seats.  There was a missing connection between the seats and the "body control module" and the wrong console had been installed.

While the mistake has been corrected, the heated seats do not come close to generating as much heat as a 2004 Tundra.  My production date was Sep 04.  It seems like they are trying to correct the mistakes of the earlier production models.  I like the truck:  fit and finish, performance and features.  I think Nissan will iron out the wrinkles and be a strong contender in the full-size truck business.

Good luck with yours.

I traded an '04 Silverado for an '05 Titan LE and I have noticed that the seats don't put out as much heat as the Chevy but any heat in the seat on a 15 degree morning is better than none.  No complaints here.
