I have read all sorts of theorectical installs but I have done it and fixed the lack of volume problem from Skyfi  (even with the line out all the way up).  Parts are a line driver LD-1 manf. by PIE  from MyRadioStore.com, talk to Ralph($37.49) and two Radio shack 42-2550 Y adapter audio cables($5.00each). Pull the cover off the radio and disconnect the aux from the face plate.  Plug one end of the Y cable into the aux recepticle and the color co-ordinated plugs into the output of the LD-1.  Then plug the input RCA into the LD-1 and the miniplug directly into the SKYFI cradle. The only thing left to do is find a power source and ground for the LD-1(this was a the biggest pain, if anybody has a easy way shout!) Your SAT radio now rocks the way it was supposed too clean and loud!!!!!

I had BestBuy Install my XM, the reception was CRAP in Atlanta.

After Several calls to XM, I found I had the wrong FM modulator installed. I also have a Dell MP3 player that I plug into my AUX jack (RF package). XM told me to test my reception by using a set of head phone jacks into the side of my wifi2 and see if the antenna was working correctly. It was PERFECT, but , my reception thru the radio was still crap. I remebered my MP3 player plugged into my AUX so  I tried the XM aslo. It works great now. This is the only way I use it now. I do have a cable on my dash. but I can live with that.

I bought the cable from Walmart for 5$, it is just a 1/8" to 1/8" male to male headphone cable.
