Is there a way to shut off the VDC for good? I do not like the way my truck acts with this and it is a pain in the butt to push the button all the time.

You annot shut it off for good. It is tied into many other systems in the truck. Its a live with it item unless you can contactTechnoSquare and see if they can do a flash of the VDC program with some new values.
