I took my truck in for the 3rd time with the same brake rotor problems. Now they tell me that my truck is not drivable due to the rotors that have been turned too many times due to the warpping problems with all Titans. I am told that they have new rotors available but productions is very slow. I could be out of a truck for several months. I am going to take this all the way to the courts. Good luck Guys

Good luck, we just went through arbritration with our 04 Titan. Better have the truck spick and span including the engine an underneath. We had mud underneath, we live on a dirty road (clay). Nissan took pictures when the truck was in for repairs (brakes, windows, engine noise, anti-freeze smell, jack broke trying to change tire). They made it look as if we abused the truck because it had mud and the tires were worn. The brakes were finally fixed after 3 turning they repaired the rotor with new one (supposably better). We denied our claim because the pictures showed we might not have performed the appropriate maintenance. I don't see where dirt has anything to to with the problems. Especially dirt underneath the car. The nissan rep was really nasty about the whole deal now we can't even get the car back in to get the repairs dones. They won't make us an appt or call back.

Don't let the dealer tell you they can't get the new rotors because of backlog. We filed a suite against Nissan with the Better Business Bureau and would you believe the had the rotors over nighted to the dealer. Got them directly from the factory to the dealer in less than a day. But after all we still have problems with the Nissan, TRADED IT LAST NIGHT FOR A TOYOTA. Hope we have better luck this time.

Going in to get the issue worked on again. My dealer has been great about everything so far.

It really breaks my heart to hear so many problems going on with this truck, that Nissan has to be put literally on the chopping block before the right move is made. This truck, to me, has been a great truck. I know of all the problems, most of them all brake problems, and I haven't yet had them. I surely hope that Nissan observes this "campaign" with the upmost importance, and enforces their customer service reps to be helpful, not nasty. All this makes me shudder if in case I come across such problems.

Why are these former Titan owners still posting on here, go to your Subaru fourm and Toyota fourm and chat there. Why would you want to even come here if you dont own a Titan, what just to bash them, whats the deal.

Well maybe these former Titan owners can give us some perspective on their problem on why they gave up on their trucks, and not bash. I'm always wanting to hear about what problems people have with the same product I have, even if I think the same item I got is super and someone elses is not. It keeps an eye out for what could happen. I just want to make sure that I'm not overlooking something that could be fixed easliy or maybe something is so wrong with it I need a whole new replacement. Could be a stereo, tv, shoes, TITAN, etc.

You know why I still come here? I hope to one day again buy a Titan, I truly love the truck... I won't bash it, I had problems, major problems with mine and it was at the dealership more then I had it in my possession. I finally got fed up with the problems and was lucky to have the subaru dealer get me out of it while I was in the process of dealing with Nissan Corporate and the BBB. Like I said, I come here to see if things are getting resolved with the truck cause I would like to buy another one. Quit being parnoid and enjoy your truck especially if you aren't having any problems!
