Has anyone out there experience a sound that seems to come from the engine area that sounds like a whine/whistle? I have noticed it since the truck was new. It kind of sounds like a turbo engine does but not quite as loud. Most people would probably never here it. My service manager said something about it being a normal sound for a high performance engine. Not sure that comforts me with all the problems I'm reading about the Titan.
P.S... They are replaceing my rotors today with the new ones from Nissan. I also have the door creaks and groans.

I have the same noise. I have often wondered if it was a vacuum leak but I haven't addressed it with the dealer. This engine runs great though.

I have the same sound (sounds like a turbo spooling up), but I only
noticed it when I put my AEM intake in. I hear it under light throttle
only. It must be normal intake noise.

I've noticed mine making the noise since it was new. Mine also runs great and it's probably nothing. I'm glad to hear others hear it too.

I have it too....I inform the dealer EVERY TIME I'm in there whether it
be for an oil change, or whatever. I took the 2 different service guys
out for a run and neither heard what all of us hear every
day....SQUEEEEEEL at part throttle. Both said it was a normal intake
noise and that nothing was wrong....wait, didn't they just say they
DIDN'T hear it?? I had the head fellow document my concerns on paper
and in their computer for a later date, just in case something does go
wrong. Can't say anything bad about my dealer, just wish they can hear
wht I hear! Damn that noise is annoying!!!!!

Oh well, glad I'm not the only one hearing it. I guess it is normal noise for this truck, but it really annoys me! I don't remember hearing it the first 3 -4 months after I bought it though. I had the dealership document my concerns with this noise too....just in case.

I hear it too, sounds like intake noise to me.

I just got mine and have noticed it also. It sounds the loudest on a cold start. It is a vaccum whistle sound.

DAMNIT...does
anyone have a bloody fix for this yet? This whistle is drivin me
nuts........Hot weather, windows down, tunes off and I find myself
concentrating on making the wssss wsssss wsssssssssssss turn on and
off!!!

The sound is coming from your speakers ..... according to my friend that works at Nissan it is a bad ground in your fuse box.... when accellerating you will hear this whistling noise. I told my shop about it also, but they couldnt reproduce the problem. The only way to get it fixed is to have your fuse box replaced by Nissan. Hope this helps.
