Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share all the problems I have experienced with my truck.

1. Fuel sending unit (went out at 2K miles)

2. Rear drivers side bearing.

3. Leaking brake fluid from rear driver side rotor.

4. SRS light in instrument panel coming on and blinking all the time.

5. Rubber channel for rear sliding glass defective.

Is this normal at 6K miles ?  I think not!  I love the Titan, but maybe I should've bought the Tundra!?

I agree with Kevante...

I just went over the 10,000 mile mark on  my Titan, and yet to have any major problems, especially brakes. So lemon or not, I'd raise hell back at the dealership for them to satisfy your problems.

I feel your pain, Stubbs.  It seems like my truck has spent more time at the dealership than in my driveway.  What a shame.  Could it be the unskilled and under paid people at the Nissan Factory?  That might be an issue.

I would but that if it were the same thing every time and if I didn't know all these people personally (as I used to work with them). Each failure that my truck has experienced is design/quality related.

The cats failed causing back pressure to force catalyst into my engine through the valves. This took out my crank and cam shafts, due to the catalyst working like sand paper on those parts. This was a known problem with Nissan's 2.5l engine.

The rear end is the redesigned 2005 differential.

The window switch was covered by the TSB issued some time ago.

Crank position sensor was a fluke failure.

The only problem associated to handling of the vehicle was my dash.

Nissan needs to do the right thing here. Own up to these design issues and fix them. All I ask for is a vehicle I can drive while I'm paying for it.

I have 24,700 miles on my 04 Titan, It is in the shop now getting work done.

1. Blown rear-end (The dealership new it would take a week to get the parts in for this. Hmmm......wonder if its happened before?? and they tried to give me a hard time about getting me a rental car for the week!!)

2. Brakes for the second time

3. The molding on my passenger rear door needs replacing for the second time

4. They need to check the 4-wheel drive because 4-low flashes when I am driving down the highway and not in 4WD.

5. When I go to put my car in gear it will make a loud bang sound before it goes into gear sometimes.

Hope they can fix everything, I'm a loyal Nissan fan but it's not looking to promising on this truck!

Well folks.......it seems the problems w/y 04 have come to an end. Nissan has agreed to settle my law suit and give me a new ruck under Massachusetts Lemon Law!!!  Only going to cost me $100 to $200....

Hope to be in my 05 by end of week...
