I am trying to figure out if there was a factory option for the Off Road package available for the 2004 CC.  I saw a 2004 SE CC 2wd with "off Road" badging (not stickers), the ranchos, 17" tires/wheels, skids, etc.   Was told it was a factory option, but I have only seen this available for the 4x4.  Any one aware of this Factory Option?

Thanks.  When I tried to config a new one on Nissanusa.com it said the offroad was for 4x4 only.  May have been an option for 04, or may be region specific or something.  It sure looks nice..  Do you think it makes a difference for you in handling, mileage etc?

HANDLING IS GREAT, JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A ROUGH RIDE, I HAVE TOWING PACKAGE SO IT HAS A LOWER GEAR RATIO, RUNS GREAT LOTS OF POWER. GAS MILEAGE IS 15MPG BUT I DRIVE IT DAILY TO WORK ON THE INTERSTATE 75 TO 80 MPH. I DIDNT BUY IT FOR GAS MILEAGE..

I live down a dirt road that tends to get a little rough, so I opted to get the Off Road pkg with 2wd. Bigger tires also, which allowed me to get some bigger rims rather than the 17in factory.

I have an 04 2wd KC with the off road pakage and it does ride a little rough but I liked the look of it and didn't really need 4wd so thats why I bought it.I also was checking out the nissan page and also noticed that in order to get the off road package on an 05 you had to have 4wd.They must have changed the package for this year.

2004 is the only year that offered 2WD with off road.
