This is my fight with Daystar about their stupid lift so many of us have had trouble with. My first letter is on the bottom, and you can read to the top. If anyone has anything else helpful, I'd appreciate it!
Hi Mr. Putnam
Sorry to here of your problem. Our lift is on the top side of the strut plate and doesn’t over extend the struts. The stock struts run at full
Extension all the time and is how Nissan made the truck. As for Daystar we feel there is no problem with our lift. There is only
one issue with our fit is when the lift is being installed they can damage the struts by using the wrong tool to compress the strut and damaging the valve in the strut casing it to make noise witch makes people think that the struts where damaged by the lift not by faulty install.
Sincerely

Sent this back on the 23rd of September as you can see and got no response. Thought I would send it again in an attempt to make things right, in case you somehow missed it the first time. I don’t quite understand why I should have to pay for replacement struts when you make a defective product with no claims to requiring a long travel strut to avoid strut damage. Hell, if I could find long travel struts I’d throw them in and say forget it. Unfortunately I can’t find any so I’m stuck with 2 blown struts and worthless leveling kit. How would you feel?

So, before doing any research online, I decided to install one of your 2 ½ leveling kits on my ’05 Titan 4x4 SE Offroad Package. Sure wish I could take that idea back. Now the front end of my truck sounds like it’s going to fall off. Turns out it over-extends the front struts beyond their ability to travel and they’re bottoming out. Now, they’re probably ruined. I did some searching on the web to make sure my truck just wasn’t some freak of nature with bad struts. Turns out pretty much everyone who has this lift on their truck is having the same problem – ( http://www.nissantitan.info/forum_posts.asp?TID=1387&KW= daystar) Keep searching, there’s plenty of threads on it. Anyway, it’s obviously an issue. I’d like to just get rid of it. I’ve had it for a whopping 2,000 miles and the knocking is driving me insane, and now I have to pay to have new struts installed. Anyway, I’m just frustrated because I feel like I got screwed. I’d like to just return my kit and get my $120 back, even though I still have to go through the trouble of paying someone to take the lift off and possibly (most likely) pay to have new struts put on. Please email me back with at least some kind of explanation.
