1st of all I’m not one for racing, after all that’s not what you do with a 4X4, plus it really kills the gas mileage, etc.
I know this isn't much of a kill, but anyhow, I had a little fun with a V8 Grand Cherokee last night. This
guy from work pulls up beside me throttling back and forth trying to
get me to race him on the Interstate. He kept doing this for about a
mile then finally I rev’d up my 40’s and eased it on ahead of him
(haven’t hammered it yet) and he stills want to run. After about a
minute of this I decided to open it up about 3/4 throttle and left him,
90…..100…..110, then I let go. The next day he told me that he didn’t
think that truck had that much power 'cause he couldn't keep up. He
also couldn’t believe I didn’t open it up all the way. Just thought you
guys would enjoy this.

I would be in Decatur most of the time, which is where I grind my fingers to the bone. The other times I would be in Bankhead National Forest in southern Lawrence county, which is where I park my Titan and rest my head. I was down close to Tuscaloosa earlier in the year deer hunting with a buddy in Reform. No luck too hot for them to move. Plus it didn't help that we got pretty intoxicated Friday night and couldn't pry ourselves out of the bed.

Really, I go up to Muscle Shoals/Florence alot, it's maybe an hour from Decatur. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been fishing up on Wilson Lake, and sometimes Wheeler Lake as well, with my grandfather and uncle. I love to catch those small mouth.

Now lets not start talking about fishing.... I grow gills during the spring, summer, and fall. Then grow horns in the late fall and winter. I love me some fishing. I usually fish Smith Lake, in Cullman county and surrounding areas. Nice fishing down there. Here's a couple of pics of some fish I've caught down there.
Nice spotted bass caught at Smith Lake
Nice Large mouth caught at Smith Lake

Late post, been busy, nice fish. I can go fishing now that I have
trailer pig tail working correctly now. I've heard that there is some
good fishing there. Have you ever fished at Bankhead? I think that I
maybe trying to go there very soon.
