I bought a trailer hitch on ebay ,but bought the towing relays (3) for the fuse box from nissian and the bought a harness (OUCH!)part number 24167-7S000 (room lamp sub?). I bought these items about 7 months ago. My hitch has the 7 pin hook up and 4 pin hook up so I can use either one. Now my question is, Im picking up my first ever toy hauler (a RPM23FB) RV travel trailer and it comes with electric brakes of course and the dealer said that as long as I have the seven pin hook up plug that the electric brakes will work on the trailer, okay I understand that ,but what is the brand new harness I mentioned above for, or rather where does it go? Its has a white square connector with 5 wires coming out of it to be spliced into some thing? and the over all lenght is 2 feet and I called two nissian dealers and they tell me the plug for it is in the rear of the truck and I cant find it no where. Is this harness for one of those electric adjustable brake boxes? Im scratching my head and got to pick up my new toy in two days, any suggestions, thanks.
OH yea, its a 06 XE king cab
PS. I got my answer from another titan forum im also a member on, seems the harness hooks under the dash to the appropiate connector.
