I went to an exhaust place to get a price on getting dual exhaust on the TITAN here is the two options.....

1)--- Keep the existing Y-pipe coming off of there with one big 2 chamber muffler then coming off of that with two pipes for either side.Price $400.00 with Borla muffler or similar

2) ---- Cut the exhaust before the Y-pipe and run true dual exhausts all the way to the back of the truck..with Borla mufflers and chrome tips..$1,200.00..but then this other guy said doing it this way will send a check engine lt on because the O2 sensors are going to get a bad reading with true dual exhaust..

Please help somebody..Also will I gain extra horse and torque wit either system..

After extensive searshing I decided to buy a Banks Monster Exhaust system. I will get it next week and post information. I believe it will be awesome .$600.00 for the system and designed especially for the Titan as far as hang points etc.

I could not put a dual exhaust on mine because there were too many cable with the big tow pkg, and anti lock etc.

I went to the local truck modification place and they quoted me $325 for the Flowmaster 70, running 2.25 in pipes from the cat straight into the muffler and eliminating the Y pipe.  It sounded like a fair deal to me, but I think I'll wait until after 10 July, when the Central Calif Titan owners meet in Modesto and see what some of them have and how they look and sound
